Hi, I'm Mel – also known as The Photo Lady.

With over 15 years of experience, I specialise in capturing genuine smiles, special moments and memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Alongside my small and friendly team, I provide a wide range of photography services across Derbyshire and surrounding areas, including school photography, nursery photography, school group photographs, studio portraits, pet photography, sports team photography, event photography and marketing photography.

My approach is relaxed, professional and fun, helping children, families, pets and businesses feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether I'm photographing individual school portraits, class groups, whole-school photographs, a family portrait, a beloved pet or a special event, my aim is always the same – to create beautiful images that tell a story and capture the personality of every subject.
